Del Monte’s Healthy Creamy Corn with Granny Smith Apple SoupI came across this recipe while I was browsing the supermarket. It was actually printed at the back of Del Monte Sweet Corn Cream Style’s box. It looked very easy yet yummy, so I purchased it – because of the recipe.It was easy, and very fast. But rather bland in presentation. Next time I’ll probably put in some peas and carrots to add more colors to it – then the name should be changed to Healthy Creamy Vegetables Soup. ;P The original recipe calls for sesame oil for seasoning, but since I don’t have sesame oil ready in hand and don’t really fancy it that much, I substituted it with toasted sesame seeds instead – they add more texture to the soup too. Serve warm with bread rolls for breakfast or as appetizer.
